Prince William has had a very hectic schedule this week attending a variety of engagements, leading royal fans to make comparisons to his late mother, Princess Diana of Wales.

Commenting on William's dedication to a life of service and creating a strong bond with today's youth, fans have been quick to award praise to Diana's eldest son.

On October 17, Prince William paid a visit to the Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Cornwall, England to learn more about the agricultural school's opportunities for young people in rural areas.

A video montage of the day was posted to social media, where Prince William even had a chance to take part in a mock crime scene investigation, which is one part of the college's military and protective services course.

Replying to the video, user @karenchrystal_ wrote: "William In his Diana Era a true king."

Another fan wrote: "King Of Hearts and People's Prince. We love you, William!" in reference to Diana being the "Queen of people's hearts" referenced in her famous interview with journalist Martin Bashir.

During the visit, William also learned about other courses the college offers, including degrees in equine science, agriculture, horticulture, business, health, and construction. The prince also visited a student-run cafe on the campus and heard from students who work there.

One fan stated: "Well done, Prince William! He really cares about people."

Earlier in the week, on October 16, Prince William called for a movement that creates "systemic change" to end homelessness in the UK at the Centrepoint Awards - a charity of which he is patron.

The occasion celebrates the achievements of young people who have transformed their lives after experiencing homelessness.

Fans were quick to comment on how Princess Diana would have been so proud of William. User, _walesfamily said: "Diana's heir, she would be so proud of her William."

Another wrote: "Great charity, Princess Diana was their Patron and now Prince William. Keep up the good work, your mum would be so proud of the man you have become."

Eradicating homelessness and supporting the community was one of Princess Diana's many philanthropic interests, and she was Centrepoint's proud patron until her tragic death in 1997.

On September 13, 2005, Prince William, HRH The Prince of Wales, became patron of Centrepoint. The website writes how William "keeps Diana's work alive", and how William has a "special way of connecting with people from all backgrounds, making them feel at ease".
